Aim
This course is designed to support the development of futsal-specific coaching knowledge, in-game understanding, tactical awareness and the ability to develop individual players and teams within the futsal environment.

About
This course is made up of online webinars, followed by in-person contact days that will support your development and knowledge of futsal coaching. The UEFA B Futsal Diploma provides coaches with a dedicated toolkit of futsal coaching methods, including an understanding of the laws of the game, futsal-specific methodology, tactical concepts, systems of play and the technical demands of the game.

The course supports coaches in developing players and teams from youth through to senior amateur level, with a focus on improving individual and team performance through realistic, game-related practices.

Outcomes
This course is designed to combine the technical, tactical, physical, social and psychological aspects of futsal coaching. Coaches will explore how to positively affect player development through realistic practices, decision-making opportunities and match-related learning.

Practical and theoretical presentations will support the coach in developing a deeper understanding of futsal-specific principles, including individual roles, team organisation, attacking and defending strategies, transitions, set plays, player movement and game management.

At this level, the ability to plan, prepare, deliver and reflect upon coaching sessions specific to futsal is key. Coaches will also be expected to evaluate, analyse and provide feedback on training and match performance to support the continued development of players and teams.
